Quality Control
At Satnam Psyllium Industries, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality psyllium seeds, husk, and husk powder to both domestic and international markets. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our adherence to BRC certification and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System.
We uphold rigorous food safety and quality standards, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GHP (Good Hygienic Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), and BRC standards. Our Quality Assurance department conducts scientific testing of random samples at every stage of processing. Products are only used for further processing and packaging after receiving approval from our Quality Assurance team.
Our processing facility follows a strict FIFO (First In, First Out) principle to ensure material freshness. We maintain stringent hygienic conditions throughout the processing period and conduct fumigation as directed by Pest Control India to prevent contamination. Continuous staff training and technology upgrades support our dedication to maintaining the highest quality standards.
What Is Psyllium ?
Psyllium (also known as Ispaghula) is the name that is often used to describe a plant called Plantago. The outer shell of the seeds from this plant (called the husk) is often ground to extract a clear, glue-like substance called mucilage. It is this mucilage that contains a high-level of soluble fiber and other beneficial components which are often used to treat a variety of ailments.
What are the Benefits of Psyllium?
Studies have found that Psyllium is beneficial in the treatment of a variety of health conditions. In fact, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) even approve advertisers and food packagers from stating that Psyllium is an effective ingredient to lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease.
